Poets in a Hot Summer Tent

Warm thanks to everyone who attended the readings delivered by contributors to the Spring 2013 issue of DJST. Meticulously crafted subject matter in a variety of lyrical forms ranged from a piece in praise of pronouns (but really about civil rights, in honor of Jake Adam York's passion) to missing deceased loved ones; from a shared bottle of wine to wake-up lovemaking. They are set in places that range from a library to the smoldering ashes of a burned house to Biafra and even a San Francisco parade honoring the pope.

If your curiosity is not yet aroused, please see your physician -- something serious may be going on. Feel free to take a moment to review the current issue posted on the Issues page.
